Dr Samantha Almany grew up in Southeast Texas but has called Nacogdoches home since attending Stephen F Austin State University for her undergraduate studies. After graduation, she attended Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she graduated Cum Laude in 2004. She started her career working for a wonderful practice in Lufkin, but relocated to New Braunfels after falling in love with Central Texas in 2006. Dr Almany enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, but she especially loves internal medicine and enjoys getting to know and build relationships with her clients. She now lives in Bulverde with her husband, two kids, Emily and Logan, and their outdoor cat, which so kindly allows them all to live at her house. 

Whitney Zamarripa, DVM, Veterinarian and Owner

Dr. Zamarripa graduated cum laude from the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to veterinary school she earned her Bachelor and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of Kentucky before working in the healthcare industry for Johnson & Johnson. She moved from Kentucky to Texas in 2011. She enjoys all aspects of animal medicine but is especially interested in dermatology, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery. When not at work Dr. Zamarripa loves spending time with her husband Jose and their three sons JD, Jax, and Dylan. She also enjoys running, traveling, and spending time outdoors. She has two pets, a dog named Rosco and a cat names Jules.

Brooke Garibay, Veterinarian

Dr. Brooke Garibay graduated Cum Laude from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2020. Prior to attending veterinary school, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Sciences from Texas A&M University. Dr. Garibay was raised on the Texas Gulf Coast where she developed a love for a variety of animal species and decided to pursue her passion in caring for all our animal friends. Dr. Garibay loves all aspects of veterinary medicine with a special interest in Small Animal Surgery, preventative and critical care, and behavior. Dr. Garibay focuses on treating each individual animal with patience and compassion and strives to connect with our owners to find the best care solutions for their pets.

After graduation, Dr. Garibay settled down in San Antonio where she married her high school sweetheart, Robert. Since then, they have welcomed three children, Abigail, Ethan, and Heidi. In her spare time, you will find her spending time with her family outdoors, cooking or cheering on her husband at Friday night football games.  She and her family most enjoy traveling to other states to visit our National Parks. Her full house is completed by her three border collies: Django, Cheyenne, and Tugg.

Lynn Green-Ivey, Veterinarian

Dr. Lynn Green-Ivey, a proud Central Texas native and dedicated Aggie Vet, graduated from Texas A&M University with her Bachelors in 2008 and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. With a passion for evidence-based veterinary medicine, she served the Northeast San Antonio and Stone Oak communities for 9 years; then built their family home in Canyon Lake and practiced in New Braunfels since 2020. She is very excited to be back in this area to build relationships, share her love for animals, and care for all our pet-loving families. Dr. Green-Ivey excels in preventative care, dentistry, internal medicine, endocrine disease, and nutrition – feel free to ask “Dr. G-I” your toughest food questions! Committed to education and comprehensive patient care, she aims to partner with each owner to ensure their pets thrive. When not at work, she loves spending time with her husband, Chris, and their two sons, Corbin and Rhett – while trying to squeeze in as much cooking, horseback riding, traveling, reading, and baseball as possible.
